Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Albuquerque

Very caring and kind staff. Clean and spacious rooms with in a great location. So we had made reservations at a "bigger" hotel with more amenities in a different part of town and asked a full refund upon checking into our rooms. Then we spent about three hours looking for another place to stay. We got lucky finding this hotel and even luckier that Gabby (spelling) was working the front desk. She took the time to listen to our situation and help us with such authentic kindness and made us feel right at home. The hotel doesn't have an indoor pool but what it does have is a tasty hot breakfast, super clean and comfortable rooms, and a safe family environment that is second to none. I truly think with a bit of modernizing the lobby this hotel could and should beat out the competitors next door. MOST importantly is the kind and smiling staff. Such a warm environment I can't compliment their attitudes enough. Also so convenient to most of what we did as a family in Albuquerque. The Biopark, The Main Event, Nob Hill, and Route 66 drive. We also traveled to Santa Fe on one day of our stay. I hope the franchisee knows what a great staff they have!!!

Room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. Not elegant or up to date but clean and reasonably priced. One of the better free breakfasts we've had with decent hot food. One downside, wifi is pretty spotty and slow.

Our first time staying here and it was very pleasant. I liked the noon check out, allowed us to relax & chill for a bit. Breakfast was good even though we went down late, we still got to eat. Me and my husband had a very good sleep and we were rested.

This was a nice basic hotel. The amenities are not fancy but they are adequate. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was nice, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable with decent linens. The included breakfast was nice with a variety of options. Location is good with quick access to a number of attractions. There are several restaurants near by for dining options. Checkout was quick and trouble free.

So far, so good. The room is clean and the tv works well. Its an adequate location for a hotel that still allows smoking in your room.. Staff seems pretty nice too. So, we will see how the rest of the stay goes and then we will provide a better, more fair review....

It's good for the price. We have stayed there twice now, and the only complaint is would have is the breakfast could have been better the second time around. They used to make their eggs scrambled, now it seems they use powdered egg mixture. However, the rooms have always been clean and spacious. They are also pet friendly with a small fee ($25 per pet). There is also a 7-11 right across the parking lot.

Great place to stay, I stayed here with my son August 6-7th, 2013. Most courteous and caring staff. We flew in from NH, arrived at 11pm. Had problem at airport with rental car which would not resolve until the next day., The shuttle service picked me up within 3 minutes. The shuttle driver, was great. He went above and beyond. The room was clean, no smell of cigarette smoke anywhere in the building. Breakfast was warm, good, and provided several options. The pool was clean and beautiful. Grounds well maintained. The front desk workers were resourceful for this traveler. I will definitely stay again.

Very nice room. Would have given 5 stars but there are issues. The plum king doesn't work well. There are lots of panhandlers off the streets here. Room is very clean, very quiet and very affordable. Makes it a great deal. I'd stay here many .ore times. Oh.....has a very nice clean pool.
